Hi, I am Neeta. I started Love and Laughter Play School in 2003 when my son was just a year old. It had been difficult for me to find a nice safe and warm place for my child to stay while I went to work. I realized that other parents would have the same concerns. I never imagined I would be living my dream every day, growing a business I truly enjoy. On my journey, I continue to meet great new families and form everlasting relationships.
We give top-quality care in a loving nurturing environment. Children are served tasty, warm, home-cooked meals. Children love to be outdoors, in fresh air and sunlight, to hear the birds, to see the squirrels, and be outdoors where they can run, jump, and play, Toddlers develop their fine motor skills by constructing with building blocks, forming play dough, lacing, cutting and pasting and coloring and painting. We have an emergent curriculum and a child-centered, play-based early childhood education environment. Instead of following a fixed ready-made curriculum I design developmentally appropriate activities, have open-ended art projects, and engage kids in a lot of sensory experiences.
Our curriculum is based on children's current interests and we try to build and expand upon children's lead. All these experiences together allow children room to be themselves, help them make their own decisions, and just create whatever they want to. I believe that children learn by DOING, by using all of their senses, and by creating messes! These are the principles that Love and Laughter Playschool practices. We are one of the most highly recommended daycare facilities in the Sunnyvale area, and we would be delighted to have your child with us!
Here at Love and Laughter Daycare, we pride ourselves on our learning environment which child-centered and offers a variety of opportunities and choices to young children.
